Don't know if anyone is interested but my site Bricks and Books has split into two separate sites as I feel both subjects (Lego & Discworld would be more popular on their own dedicated site so..

for Lego fans its http://brickfanatics.co.uk
for Discworld fans its http://discworldfanatics.co.uk

I am in the middle of bringing the content from Bricks and Books over to the new sites.

Hmm that is possibly your screen resolution as it is designed to sit at the side of a posting page, like this:

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

What is your screen resolution? Also what browser was you using as want to fix it for you and others that may experience this issue.

It's not your resolution, it is a browser issue, the theme I use has been built for the latest browsers but will try and re-code for the share panel to display right for IE8 users as well. The side panel displays fine in the latest versions of Firefox, Chrome, Opera and IE9.

I spoke to the person who created the share feature and the issues is with IE 8 this is what they said:

Yes, this is a known issue with IE8. Because of the way IE8 works, the sharebox had to be fixed to the edge of the browser window instead of the edge of the main content panel.
However they are working on a fix or away to hide it from people using the IE8 Browser. :)

I had an Acer and FF is a very basic version on there but I only use it for when I need firebug, I seem to prefer Chrome right now. Nothing much between user wise more down to preference but it's a pain in the ass when getting a theme to be cross browser compatible, IE6 and IE8 are the worse for getting things to look right on.

Who's Wee Dug I have re-coded the site so the share box should not show for IE8 users, can you confirm if the issue has been fixed your end please?

By the way, would it be okay if I'd post the tumblr Ask-A-Character blogs for Discworld here?
(For those who don't know, Ask-A-Character is just what it says on the tin. It's a just-for-fun mixture of roleplay and a bit f fanfiction, so perhaps not something for everyone, but it's all in good spirit)
