I have read prachett for many years but i dearly wish to know how to say some of the characters names like Angua. A list or whatever would be nice.

The odd one is Nanny Ogg's first name. I've heard that pronounced all sorts of ways.

I've always said g-eye-thar. o_O

There's actually a character in one of Bernard Cornwell's Saxon books named Gytha.

Oh dear! How I pronounce some of the names caused a lot of merriment at last years' DW Con, particulrly with Mad and Jan. :(

I pronounce her name An-joo-na. There's a beach in Goa called Anjuna and I always think of that when I see her name.

I also pronounce Gaspode as "Gas-pod"
