Did anyone else watch this last night? Not only did he manage to make Quantum Physics sound interesting, but I even managed to understand most of what he was saying. :ugeek:

For any who missed it, the link can be found HERE. Sorry its on BBC IPlayer and probably not available outside of the UK.

I saw it and liked it,but no more personal insight gained alas.
But then again small comfort, deep down there's very few who really get it.
Quantumtheory involves a lot of weirdness and is hard to wrap your brain around.
Talking about brains...thanks for reminding me also about the upcoming Royal Christmas lectures, just looked at the 2011 subject Meet your brain, like it already  (http://www.rigb.org/contentControl?action=displayContent&id=00000005110).

Completely brilliant, more like this please BBC.

Double slit experiment was A-level physics for me....brave of the BBC to show a mainstream science programme with that as its starting point! The sort of level Horizon used to be at before they dumbed it down.

I can't open the link. I've watched his Wonders of the Solar System/ Universe series. Very good of course. He makes you want to understand. First discovered him listening to the extras on Sunshine.
