Just watching a repeat from the H series on Dave.

Sandi Toksvig mentioned Hans Christian Andersen put "I am not dead, I'm asleep" signs next to his bed because he feared being buried alive. Is this where Pratchett got the "I Aten't Dead" idea for Granny Weatherwax from? o_O:
It's possible. I don't know if Terry has ever said that's where he got the idea from. :)
Didn't he also travel with a coil of rope in case of fires - and the need for escape?

And Sue Perkins was on, and I think she's great!
Bonanza!

I love QI. Australia was a bit slow getting it but am glad it's finally here. They have amazing guests on. I think Sue Perkins is great as well.

My husband, children & myself are the only people I know in real life who watch it. How sad is that? The kids don't get all of what they're talking about but some of it sinks in & they have a giggle at Alan, Bill Bailey & co.

My family always catch me out though, if I'm trying to sound intelligent about something they go, 'Learn that from Stephen Fry did ya?'. Cheeky sods.

;)

I must get Sharlene into it. Although it will have to have subtitles as she finds British English hard to understand sometimes. I have to translate during British war movies. ;)

Well add another one to the list of people who watch it here Jennifer. Love the show. I SOUNDS intelligent... until you hear some of the furfies they have said about Australia.

HEYYYYYYYYYYYYY Welcome fellow Aussie

Grandma lives in Rocky. Haven't been up there for AGES... and certainly wont at this time of year. I spent one Christmas there and in a daze of heat found I had been trying to towel myself dry after a shower for about ten minutes and it was impossible. Humidity is amazing there.... and I thought Brissy was bad. But Grandma lives there so its a "special place" on earth

Emu Park and Yeppon.... siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh.

QI is amazing

Was it Jonathan Ross who was full of random bits of knowledge on one ofthe early episodes? I'm surprised they haven't got him back (atleast I don't recall him being back on)

Alan Davis is the best, the relationship he has with Stephen now is so funny Alan really knows how to wind him up some times
