Hi all. I am creating a short notice costume and I have a question I cant seem to find the answer to so am turn to the experts once again. (I have also posted on the discworld monthy fb page, I don't mean to spam, I am just not sure where it is more likely to be answered)

I think I remember reading in Sourcery that Conina is blond and wears a 'white dress with flowers along the bottom'.
Is that right? I don't have the book itself and so cant re-read to check. Or am I getting her mixed up with a white dress that Lady Margolotta wears at some stage

First description of her

The stranger threw back her hood and shook out her long hair. It was almost pure white. Since her skin was tanned golden the general effect was calculated to hit the male libido like a lead pipe.
after she changed out of the cloak

The girl was wearing a demure white lace dress with fetchingly puffed sleeves
No mention of flowers just lace

The Clarecraft figure which seems pretty good, certainly regarding hidden knives and of course scissors and comb

In my continual rereading, I reread Sourcery and came across two descriptions of the white dress(es) Conina wears:

US pb p.43, UK pb p.50: "The girl was wearing a demure white lace dress with fetchingly puffed sleeves." She and Rincewind have just escaped from the brawl at the Mended Drum.

US pb p.80, UK pb p.88: "...a rather pretty girl in a white dress with flowers on it..." They are being attacked by pirates, and Conina is defending them with her comb.

So both lace and flowers are available for decoration of the basic dress.

How tiny is Clarecraft's Conina?

The make-up's on par with my make-over Slant avatar. It's a bit weird those cheeks and lips. She needs a bra, and a different style for fighting. I wonder when in the books she slipped into something lightweight and white; must have been either Klatch or inherited from Bethan's sacrificial dress sense.

After she yanked Rincewind out of the Mended Drum, she changed clothing in the alley.

Ah, there it was.

I'm reviewing most of posts, and embarrassingly I'm having to delete the long ones, and just leave a note.
I'm, erm, worried about myself. My Slant avatar has acquired a Santa's hat in it's many hidden layers, alongside the shades top-ups, and the orange blusher and lipstick I referred to in my previous post. It's the d*mn moths I'm having trouble with.
