Sadly not - for those of you not in the know, Revenge airs on ABC in the US and stars Emily VanCamp as Emily Thorne, a young woman who's intent on getting even with those who wronged her and her father, who was framed for a crime he didn't commit. Unfortunately, there's still no UK broadcaster attached to the series.

However, there is a glimmer of hope if you're based in Ireland - RTE has picked up Revenge to air in the Emerald Isle! No air date confirmed as of yet, so watch this space.

I saw an ad for this on Bog tv last night saying these are the shows to look forward to later in the year . No dates though.

I watched about a half hour of this and felt my IQ dropping by 30 points, which brought it down to single digits. It's your basic late night soap opera full of beautiful rich people overacting up a storm.

I've seen every ep so far. great series. its not your Kill Bill kind of revenge tale, its your "I'm gonna systematically destroy everything you hold dear while leaving you still alive to suffer and (most of) the buildings standing" kind.

and i love the "intent on getting even with those who wronged her and her father, who was framed for a crime he didn't commit" bit, makes it sound almost civil. "how dare you accuse me of stealing your muffin, sir" (slaps accuser with white glove) "I challenge you to a duel".

thats not quite how i would have put blowing up a -ing plane, killing dozens of people, and pinning it on her dad.
