Here is my Sam Vimes figure for the Lego Discworld project. I based the street lamp off one of the ones in the Going Postal Movie

The Librarian is based off an "ape costume" figure elements. The book stand is based on the displayed Kidby art.

The next figure I am working on is Rincewind.

This is my rendering of the Discwold, in Lego.

There are a few more pictures on Cuusoo http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/36302 as well as a very tiny version of The Kite.

The "interesting" thing is that if you like the idea of an official Discworld Lego set, well, that is the point of Lego Cuusoo. If this can get 10,000 people to vote for it, then Lego will consider producing their own version, that is if Terry Pratchett gives them the permission to do so of course.

I welcome any questions and I hope my posting this has not offended anyone.

Cheers!

Glenbricker.

We used to have a member on this site who adapted Lego figures into Discworld ones. You can see his efforts here.

We used to get lots of Lego when my Daughters were small, as my friend used to work for them

This begs the question: how much lego can you smuggle in a pair of underpants?
Depends if the person is wearing Long Johns or not.
Is that a brick in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me? ;)

Re: A model of the Discworld

Thanks for very much for the compliments. It was a lot of fun designing it.

I have not gotten any of the figures designed out yet but I have been working on the Luggage. I posted a few example. I think I like the one that is second from the Left the best. I might give it longer legs though..

Cheers!
