Okay, so, children of the eighties and nineties, are there any Saturday morning embrass-...ahem, cartoons that you've come back to later and thought, how the hell did I like this?

Well, recently, coming back to the Transformers franchise, the old G1 cartoons, I thought, how the hell did I ever enjoy this crap? It makes even the worst of Doctor Who look like Shakespeare.

To be fair, Battle of the Planets was a bit of a hatchet job of an original Japanese series. They cut out all sorts of profanity and graphic violence and added that stupid R2 D2 wannabe robot to fill in the gaps.

Bloody annoying show too. They had to change his name because they thought children couldn't handle Phileas

I used to love the Raccoons, me and a friend had an ongoing story we would write and Cryil Sneer was the baddie, we named our hero Sephals Snake. This was in 1996, we were 12.
