Thanks for the greetings, you folks are really friendly.
I haven't read the sample, I prefer to be more or less ignored about the plot before starting to read. All I know is that this book is going to be about Sam Vimes, he and Rincewind are my favorite characters.

I've pre-ordered both the book and the audio book from Amazon. I like to listen while I crochet in bed! Hope I don't miss anything from the book.
I like Stephen Briggs readings best of all but Snuff is read by Tony Robinson, also good but not my first choice.
Welcome to the site, PeggyOgg! I think I know you from the Cunning Artificer's site. It's good to see you here.

Tony Robinson is doing the abridged version, but as you can see here, Stephen Briggs is doing the unabridged version. ;)
PeggyOgg if you get the unabridged version from Audible a division of Amazon it will cost you £3.99 for the 1st three as a new member I get mine from there and have just downloaded U.U. unabridged for £7.99 as I not a new member but still a bargin at that price, and welcome to the Forum. :) http://www.audible.co.uk/

I have the sampler at home but i'm the same . I've left it unopened so i can go in blind for the book.
Same here I have resisted all temptation, I will have read the novel by the end of the 13th October anyway, so I can wait a few more weeks.

Ayup All...

Caved in this AM and read the Sample of Snuff on Amazon... Seems Promising.

Has anyone seen it cheaper than £9.49 and do Amazon usually get pre-orders to your Home 'On Time' as It'd Pee me off Big time if it was even a Day Late... Looking forward to it, But Given Pterrys proclivities ATMO about 'Assisted Suicide', well, isn't it a trifle Unfortunate ?

I know the Book prob'ly doesn't have anythig to do with the subject, but weird, or what ?

I just ordered my copy through my long-dormant Book of the Month Club membership where I had zillions of bonus points from past purchases. Total for the book was US$4.99 (plus $5.00 shipping, grrrr). They claim they will be shipping on the 11th.

It's the 13th for the Brits, but according to my local bookshop's website, Snuff (which I have preordered) won't be released in Australia until the beginning of November. Either they've got the date wrong, or QBD has its thumb up its arse.

Well this is annoying - I pre-ordered my copy from Amazon.co.uk some months ago. Bearing in mind it's due for release on the 13th, my copy is due to ship out on the 14th with an estimated delivery date of the 17th.

Argh!
