No,Sjoerd of course is named after the horses...Aren´t you Sjoerd??

Any of you ever seen Fresians? They are bloody beautiful animals-and bloody impressive, too, especially if you´re walking alongside one with your child on top...they do get a bit mischievious at times too..and I mean the horses right now not the children...and that can be reeeaally scary.....I wish I could insert a picture but I still don´t know how.Maybe Sjoerd can?

(We holiday in Friesland sometimes.)

 You're named after a breed of cow? o_O
Friesland (Frisia) is a Dutch province  The Frisians have their own language :p
My Dad always used to talk in Dutch to my uncle when he didn't want my Mum to know what he was saying, so she spent two years learning (basic) Dutch. Then he started talking in friesian instead
My English teacher used to say Frisian was a bit like English (I went to Secondary school in Friesland (Lemmer)) Altough I never heard any resemblance :p

My Dutch ex-girlfriend was also from Friesland, she reckoned that old English had a definite link, try Chaucer Sjoerd
Eddie Izzard did a TV programme called Mongrel Nation a few years back. He learned olde English and went to Friesland and bought a cow (which is what he intended to do) as the guy understood what he was saying near enough. Oh, Eddie is dyslexic.

I bet he has a few of those too Meer ;)

Don't you take any flak off this lot Mad! You are single hun..... "collect" to your hearts content! ;)

I can tell you.... its not a one way street.... it gets expensive having a boyfriend too! There's.... things to buy... stuff....

What do they call it?... A "fluid collection?" One that flows... one in, one out, ever refining or upgrading.... ;)
