'Tis true, young Pip.

Only tech I have is mah Kindle, mah laptop(s), and a mobile which is hardly ever switched on!!

Can't be doing with Apple. Over-priced tosh, in my humble opinion.

I've avoided Apple because , with me being more technically minded than my family they always get me to set stuff up for them. Every Apple product I've done this for has been a complete pain in the arse compared to the nearest equivalent.

I have iStuff, but I don't recall any pain in the arse moments. What were you trying to do with them?

Put music on or the likes. Having to download software then upload music to put in is lot more of a pain in the arse than a simple drag and drop that every other music player in the world uses.

Except for the one I bought my dad, which was a shocker. Should have just got him an iPod nano

I think maybe you just don't know what you're doing with it...

But then I am aware that you don't like choice :p

I like plenty of choice and I just so happen to find Apples set ups needlessly complicated. I have a computer related masters and can figure it out but they make it restrictive and annoying. Buying apple is not likeing choice rather than the other way around

You don't like it when people choose ereaders!

I don't have a computer-related masters, but I found them easy to use. Maybe your knowledge is getting in the way?

E readers are fine . I just don't want one . And I just think apples set up complicates processes that are a lot simpler on other devices . I'm not the only person to think this. I know a lot of people who have a pain when updating their content or getting a new pc and trying to sync their apple device with it.
I'm terribly sorry for coming on to a forum and voicing an opinion based on my experiences and others and for getting involved in ebook banter. I'll restrain myself in future and play nicely.

You seem to be getting a bit worked up over this for some reason, and I can't really be arsed to be drawn into an argument.

I made a statement. You questioned my ability and called me closed minded. Your comments moved from sounding like a debate to sounding like a personal attack to me. Yes I have an opinion on Ebooks which everyone knows but all of my comments relating to them are in good humour and jest. I don't question someones capabilities or opinions based on there like or dislike of hardware.
I'll leave it at that and I might have got the wrong end of the stick but your replies weren't well worded then.
I'll end it at that and pretend I didn't get overly annoyed and you didn't insult me and get on with the fun that is the forum.

Oh stop being mardy. Your air of injured innocence won't work when you've belly-ached repeatedly about the evil that is ereaders and Apple. If you can't take the banter, don't keep rising to it.

Wow, turns out I can be arsed after all.

Most if not all of the belly aching has been messing between myself and other members. Banter is fine , insults aren't.
"don't keep rising to it" if you look carefully I think you will find this is the first time I have risen to anything so that's frankly a silly general statement. Its also my first Apple related comment which I had no problem with the banter til you basically called me close minded.
I've a lot of respect for you so don't want this to escalate so that's why I admitted I probably got needlessly annoyed and wanted to leave it. So i'll ask this again. We've disagreed on something and got a bit hot and bothered but its not worth carrying beyond this.
