Over the years TP's signature has changed dramatically. The following are from my collection. (Don't ask me who Dave is, I have no idea o_O )
Even though my name's Mike, the two dedicated to "Mike" weren't dedicated to me personally. :(

The following are all 100% genuine and are in chronological order starting with 1988 (Wyrd Sisters) and finishing with 2010 (ISWM).

If you have a signed book, because TP has signed so many, the chances are the signature is genuine. If it looks like any of the following, then I would hazard a guess that it's real.

 Actually, I've just noticed that the 3rd and 4th signatures are the same one. What a bloody amateur!

I've got a signed one, but I can't remember which one it is. I remember it said Boo in it like one of yours tough.

He did a book signing near here years ago and I couldn't get there as I was working so my friend who was also a Pterry fan took one of my books along for him to sign for me.

signed or not signed

Hello fellow readers! I was at a thrift shop today and got to buy Terry's RINCEWIND the wizard. It "appears" to be signed. Since it's a SFBC Fantasy Printing of 1999, I'm wondering if it could have been signed by Mr. Pratchett. I can't find any other signed copies online. What are the chances, huh?

I am no expert on this or not, so i won't give my say in whether it is or isn't, but if it is, congratulations! Sounds like it was a good day for your

I'm not sure which book you mean as there isn't one called Rincewind the Wizard. But if the signature looks anything like the ones in the first post, chances are it's genuine. Any chance of a scan of the signature?

I take it from your use of "thrift shop" that you are an American?

Welcome to the site!

'Rincewind the Wizzard' was a US only Science Fiction Book Club publication, in the UK it was called 'The Rincewind Trilogy'.

(They both contained 4 novels - COM, TLF, Sourcery & Eric)

Thanks thud62! That makes a certain degree of sense. I wondered why I hadn't heard of it.

Hello, I need a really big help!
My husband is a big (too big) fan of Terry Pratchett, after reading TP book, he begins to read them again ... and agen
For a couple of months is our anniversary, really the only gift that I know that he wanted the autograph Terry Pratchett. For this, I'll try as much as I can because I really love my husband and want to make happy and surprise team. Please help me somehow, I did not know where to turn, so I found you. Would be grateful to the grave. I am a fashion designer and otherwise draw, I got the idea to draw a sketch with the characters from the books and a turtle of course ;) , and to send it for signature. Is it at all possible, or some other option for signature, if anyone knows please help. I just found this and whether anyone has experience with these

I hope to help, Greetings from Croatian.

Hi there littlefrogfairy and welcome! :)

It is getting more difficult to get Terry's autograph these days due to his illness. :(

What I would suggest that you do is that you contact Terry's agent, Colin Smythe and ask for his advice. The link I have posted has all the contact details you'll need.

Good luck!

Tonyblack really thank you very much. I will really try for that. It's the only thing I want to give the person that I love. I know that the chances are small  , but hope for the best.
I appreciate so much any good information and help.

Terry does not do inscriptions any more or even public signings at the conventions, so PJSM is the only outlet for signed material unless you get one from eBay or similar if your husband name happens to be the same as the previous signed one. ;)

Then obviously there is no chance
His name is Marinko and I'm sure a name like that you might not ever signed by Terry
I will have to meet PJSM print ....but it is the only and must be ok.... :|
