I will be honest, I have never attended a convention either due to work or money issues and on top of that I am sat on the fence about attending one, while I am a huge Discworld fan and have been for best part of 20 years, nothing I have seen or read has convinced me one way or the other to attend one.
While I would love to meet a few of the well known people that is attached to the Discworld and also get some of the collectables that are given/sold at theses events, nothing else really appeals to me, I'm hoping those who are convention regulars can convince me one way or another it is something I would enjoy and is worth me spend over £100 on.
Also a big thanks to Leo Boyd from BackSpindle Games and this forums very own Meekrat for giving me their view point and a few photos of the event here: http://bricksandbooks.co.uk/2011/a-look ... wcon-2011/
