Everyone has their own opinions. It doesn't mean everyone has to agree with it.
Every sci-fi and fantasy fan has their own favourites or "best of all time".
By the way, the word "best" is misleading and vague. What does "best" mean? Just because this guy likes 'em doesn't mean you or I will. Also, "best" how? For whom? The publishers and their bank accounts?
Sorry to be so cynical, but whenever I read a list like this, I have to ask the old, old question:
cui bono -- who benefits?
Is this list meant to encourage non-sci-fi fans to go out and start their own collection? Or to encourage us oldies to expand ours? And the person who wrote this article -- what particular axe does he/she have to grind?
Aggh, now I'm being analytical. (That comes from working as a part-time programmer, part-time engineer, full-time bookkeeper-slash-trying-not-to-become-an-Auditor-of-Reality). Sorry.
