Still a little too emo/twilight-y for my taste. this, and trailer 2 do look better, but I still consider it just a distraction till we can get a real spidey 4. forgetting the whole rebooting-a-film-made-only-10-years-ago thing, i know the story behind this and it's just not letting me get excited over it. i'll try it, and give it fair chance, but that part of it will always be there.

Meh. Still not interested in it. I'm sure we'll at least see it when the DVD comes out. It is a superhero movie after all. But the trailer isn't giving me much hope that I'll like it.

What's the point of the reboot? Is there anyone in the world that dont know Peter Parker gets bit by a radioactive spider? I understand changing the actors, they been there, done that, time to move on but redoing the origin just means half the movie is gonna be recovering old ground.

they were fine with doing more films. thats not why sony is doing this.

Sony and raimi were trying to reach an agreement over the plot of spidey 4. mainly, they couldn't agree on a villain. and because it took so long, Raimi stepped down, Partly because of the arguments (which happened on Spidey 3 and why Venom was forcibly added into the film, a character Raimi hated and didn't want to use) and also cause there was no way he'd have been able to do it because of other projects he was going to be doing. Sony's agreement with Marvel was they had to make a spidey movie every so many years or they lose the license. So they went ahead without him. and when he left all the other actors left too. So they decided to reboot. put as much distance from Raimi's films as possible.

Basically, its the ultimate example of a cash grab.

it looks ok from the trailer, but I don't know what went through their mind, to remake something so recent. I'll watch it when I don't have to pay for it .
I mean, it's not like there aren't any more superheroes to make movie about!

Virtual cinemas, there's an idea!
The Netflix app on the xbox 360 used to have that. you and 3 friends could all watch a movie or tv show together and talk to each other through voice chat and text, and even see your avatar on the bottom of the screen and could make gestures with it.

Sadly they removed the feature :(
