I have decided to start writing a discworld novel myself. It will feature the Night Watch and the Wizards, especially one named Johaniklas Kopernepler who develops the absurd hypothesis that the discworld is spherical. This causes weaknesses in the fabric of reality, and objects start to crumble. And not only objects...

Looking forward to it. But you may want to take another look at Small Gods before you begin it, since the pre-Brutha Omnians believed that the DW was spherical and that the "flatworld riding in elephants" theory was heresy.

Thanks for telling me; "Small Gods" is one of the ten novels I have not read yet. I will do so and change my idea as far as necessary. Unfortunately this will mean it will take a bit longer for the first chapter of "The Crumbling" to appear.
