Ronron Shuwadi => Ixolite, the shy banshee :)

(...and I was curious here, because I was sure that I'd seen the word "ixolite" in other contexts - so I looked it up. According to the Chambers's Twentieth Century Dictionary, ixolite is a fossil resin, found in bituminous coal, which becomes soft and sticky when heated. The word comes from the Greek ixos, i.e. birdlime, and lithos, i.e. a stone.

Yea! I learned something new today).

Evadne Cake => En al Sams la Raisa

****WARNING: mini-spoiler - do not read on if you haven't read Jingo - but if you have, feel free to read on and laugh******

(...I love Vetinari's and Nobby's reaction when
Colon mentions that this is where the Klatchian army is camped).

Octavo => Olaf Quimby II (He died as a result of a test against a disgruntled poet to see if the pen really was mightier than the sword. In his memory, the axiom was officially amended to include the phrase "...only if the sword is very very small and the pen is very very sharp.")
