Trailer looks good
You know, I never read The Hobbit I've read everything else Tolkien, many times, but found the Hobbit a struggle - started it a few times. Must read it before the movie.
reread it the other week, was trying to guesstimate how many times I've read it now, a conservative estimate would be 20 but suspect it may be twice that
As cameo parts go it's pretty small, but knowing PJ's lurve with all things battley Billy'll be sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cool in this we'll need defrosting when we get out of the cinema! :twisted:
A surprising bit of casting and, I think, a very interesting one. Billy is a remarkably good actor from some of the other serious roles I've seen him in and should fit the role well.
I think that some of the soundtrack they were playing was new as well (the horns part was from Two Towers - the Riders of Rohan type music) - sounds sumptuous as well as looking it. Nice to see Andy Serkis too - he is my utter CGI god!
