NOT The land of the risen Son!!
It was damn good!

There is a massive egg hunt in London with 200 eggs hidden all over. My peskies are loving it. We've found more than 20 so far including the Where's Wally egg, which moves every other day.

Changing of the guards was a bit boring - didn't see Alice. Borough market was excellent. I've had two eat-as-much-as-you-can English brekkies, a kebab, and fish and chips.

Have the peskies been to London before Pooh. o_O:
Nope!

I AM THE GOD OF THE SUN!

The weather in blighty's been wonderful every day I've been here. Warm and blue skies every day, I haven't seen one drop of rain. Left Mad's place at about 11 am just as it was starting to get a bit cloudy, then a nice leisurely drive through the sunny Cotswolds. Going home tomorrow and I see the forecast says it's going to start raining in the afternoon.

An absolutely brill holiday! Did all the things I said I would, plus a whole bunch more.

Time for one last eat-all-you-can English brekkie, then off round London again looking for more eggs, then flying home.

The UK's a great place to visit,.........but I wouldn't want to live here.

When we got back to London the egg hunt had finished. :(

But most of the eggs had been gathered together and were on show in Covent Garden!
Took over 100 photos of the eggs and peskies.

Arrived home at 6pm, went to bed at 9 and slept for 11 hours. Got 7 hours teaching today.

I slept for 11 hours coz I'd been awake for 30 hours.

I'll post some photos soon. :p

And that storm that hit Japan happened the day before I returned, so I missed it. It was a nice sunny day today because as I explained earlier, I AM THE GOD OF THE SUN!

The Duck tour - Big Ben (I know it's the name of the bell  ) from land and Thames.

The amphibious craft/vehicle was used in the Normandy landings on D-Day (obviously it wasn't yellow coz that would have been a bit of a giveaway). :p

PS: Sorry about not portraying Big Ben properly - I couldn't help there being no grey skies and rain.

Serves you right for being a Sun God! A visit to England just doesn't seem right without rain - maybe you should have come over in Summer? Glad you, Mrs Pooh, and the Peskies had a good time and did you make it to Ashdown Forest and Pooh Bear country?

1) The Mall outside Buck House
2) Trafalgar Square (looking towards Admiralty Arch :ugeek: )
3) Piccadilly Circus
4) National History Museum?
5) Tate Modern?

Not sure of #5 especially but I think I recognise the tiles behind Mr. Darwin
