Does anyone have an interesting story about using discworld quotes in real world situations?

I'll start with something that happened to me last night:

I was in a bar with the Hull university sci-fi/fantasy society when I heard a guy talking about the best things in life, which he listed as "a fresh horse beneath you,the defeat of your enemy and the lamentation of his women.Conan said that."

I semi-automatically walked up and declared "Hot water,Good dentistry and Soft lavatory paper.Cohen said that"

General laughter resulted.

Good one unseenu.

The "never trust a dog with orange eyebrows" used to get used fairly regularly - not sure if Terry invented that one or not?

I often use ''a million to one chances crop up nine times out of ten''
I accidently said it really loud when my Art teacher said that there was a million to one chance that one of us would win this art competition our school was entering

My mother was once watching a nature programme on TV and some poor antelope was getting et by a leopard or something and she said: "Nature can be so cruel." To which I replied: "No wonder they call her a mother!"

The look I got was very interesting.
