Dont know if your aware but our antipodean friends have been in the process of making Troll Bridge for some time now (had a quick look on these forums and couldnt see anything about it). They have released the trailer for it.....I give you Cohen in his younger days....

They normally them show at the discworld convention the last one was Rincewind running.

Who knows. I helped sponsor the project back in the early days. I think they only allowed a couple of hundred people to sponsor the project.

It was certainly started some time before Hogfather and that was 2005 / 2006?

I hope that it will get released one day.

I think it's going to be released by the end of the year, with the premier in London NADWCON were showing it at their Seamtresses party at Worldcon.

Sorry, Who's Wee Dug, but the end of this year is not at all likely. I doubt it will be finished by next March at Nullus Anxietas 4.

Daniel Knight has said (on Facebook) that yes, it'll probably screen first at a Discworld Convention /somewhere/, but the actual official 'premiere' will be at a film festival (purely because film festivals like to have world premieres). It's all nomenclature.

Latest update (last week) is that they have set themselves a deadline of 1 November to be completed, so that the finished film can be screened at the Irish Discworld Convention.
