I think Twoflower is a daft name for a man. I think TP named him very tongue in cheek.
I do like the name Rincewind though.

Mainly because most of them seem to be interchangeable.

Having worked in a university I can honestly say that it is very normal to have academics wandering around who seem to have no particular job to do...and generally seem to be undefined attachments.

I always liked Recent Runes for some reason. the Chair was always kind of indefinable. the senior wrangler alloyed me a bit though in hogfather.

Ever listened to Steven Briggs read them? He's fantastic. Although I muddle up the above characters as well when actually reading, Mr Briggs really gives them their own identity (sometimes a teensy bit like other characters, but hey). Amazing, that man :clap:.

OT: I can't think of a character name that bugs me. Sorry. Moist von Lipvig is supposed to be an awful name I think and Perdita; well, sounds like a stage name to me.
Oops, wait. I don't particularly like the name Jewelz (or something like it - I listened to the book, haven't read it properly yet) from UA.

Thats where the audio books shine. there it sounds like pet-a-clusp (and pet-a-clusp two A and two B) though still not the best names at least they are pronounceable.

and in my last post it should have been annoying, rather then alloying whatever that is.
