Looks like the Shire may come to Disney!

WDW News Today is reporting rumors that The Walt Disney Co. and Warner Bros. have signed or are close to an agreement that could bring the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit franchises to its theme parks.

Very much a rumor, but I would love to see it happen!

This is right on the heels of Disney releasing concept art for the Avatar additions to their Animal Kingdom theme park:

Well that might be the one thing that would make me want to go back to a Disney theme park - so long as they don't have all dancing and singing parades of elves and hobbits... :shifty:
