 I'm kind of ashamed to admit that I tend to forget to look at the homepage of our site.

I see they are still showing that "Wyrd Stuff" is "Coming Soon" after three years. I don't know why it doesn't just give a direct link here.

My bookmark goes straight here too. I hardly ever go on the main page, if view updated it I would. It's not very respectful to the big man, leaving it like that, or helpful to newbies. Which is maybe where some of the questions here come from, lack of info on main site?

I've got the original hardback and the illustrated hardback. Why do I need to read it for free, electronically? o_O

You don't. But then again you've got ISWM, so it's not aimed at you.

It's aimed at all the people who haven't read it. If they read it for free, they might enjoy it and buy the ISWM paperback.

It's called M-A-R-K-E-T-I-N-G. :p

Ah, you mean B-R-A-I-N-W-A-S-H-I-N-G. :)

But seriously, I can understand why others would want to read it, if they didn't have a copy. I just didn't think it had any relevancy to moi.

Why post, then? I dunno. Maybe reading Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas has affected me. Maybe insanity is catching from reading it on the page.

Hmmm. o_O

Dr. Who has absolutely no relevancy to moi. So why do you keep posting about it? :p

Come on Raisin, this IS a Doctor Who forum, not a Te...
What? It's a what? A Terry Pratchett forum? No way! I love that guy! If only I could read his books online somewhere for free so I wouldn't have to lug his books around with me!

On a relevant note..... I had lunch with my g/f today. Been trying to lure her here for aaaaaaaaaaaaaages. and into reading Terry Pratchett.

I know she is going to love it.

Soooooooooo during lunch she told me how she writes to a relative of her husband in Scotland and he sent her a Robert Burns poem (she had never heard of him before) and how lovely it was and how she had to read it aloud and how wonderful the language was. . . . . following me here?. . . . .

So I told her about the free book.....

Then I drove home and picked up MY copy and dropped it over.....

ummmmmm AND I showed her around the forum

So yeah..... the free book IS of use.
