On a relevant note..... I had lunch with my g/f today. Been trying to lure her here for aaaaaaaaaaaaaages. and into reading Terry Pratchett. :twisted:

I know she is going to love it.

Soooooooooo during lunch she told me how she writes to a relative of her husband in Scotland and he sent her a Robert Burns poem (she had never heard of him before) and how lovely it was and how she had to read it aloud and how wonderful the language was. . . . . following me here?. . . . . :twisted:

So I told her about the free book.....

Then I drove home and picked up MY copy and dropped it over.....

ummmmmm AND I showed her around the forum

So yeah..... the free book IS of use.

If she likes Burns, she might like this traditional Scottish song O Waly, Waly. Nothing at all to do with Feegles...

She had no idea who Robert Burns was...... but then I guess most fathers don't give their kids hardbound collections of Robert Burns at 12 huh?
