Have read 2 books by Markus Heitz;

"TheDwarves"

"The war of the Dwarves"

Not to bad but I much prefer Mr Prachetts Dwarves.

Also like to read Azimovs' 'Foundation' series'. I have been reading his stories for over 40 years and still consider them to be some of the best SI FI ever writen.

Finished A dance with dragons (the fifth book in Ice and Fire series) whilst on holiday. Has been such a long time since I read the preceding books so I had forgotten some of the characters (not the leading characters though). Still a very good read :laugh:
I wonder how long it'll be until the next book is ready....

I have just finished reading 'the other hand' by Chris Cleave. It was a great book, although very shocking and sad at parts - it made you think.

Mediocre is a bit Harsh. He has a straight forward style . Simple but effective. :laugh:
Ok, maybe a bit harsh.....he's a good storyteller. The book reads very much like a good screenplay, which I think is his forte anyway. I have a feeling the guy is a huge nerd (in a good way, I love nerds). I mean - George RR Martin? C'mon :laugh:

I've just started reading Doctor Who: The Coming of the Terraphiles by Michael Moorcock. :laugh:
I started reading it, but couldn't really get into it. Might start again some time.
I really wouldn't waste your time with it Q. I really didn't enjoy it and found it a struggle to finish, which really surprised me since Michael Moorcock is one of my favourite writers. :(

Just finished The Eyre Affair :) Some good ideas in it...does anyone know if the others are any good? :laugh:
It's well worth reading them all, but it becomes more of a series after the first one and therefore some of the ideas are spread out.

I think it's a marvellous series. :laugh:
