Not to bad but I much prefer Mr Prachetts Dwarves.
Also like to read Azimovs' 'Foundation' series'. I have been reading his stories for over 40 years and still consider them to be some of the best SI FI ever writen.
Finished A dance with dragons (the fifth book in Ice and Fire series) whilst on holiday. Has been such a long time since I read the preceding books so I had forgotten some of the characters (not the leading characters though). Still a very good read
I wonder how long it'll be until the next book is ready....
Not long finished struggling through the Dragon Lance trilogy by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman... loved them when I was younger, not so much now!
So just started Harry potter 1st book again for a bit of fun
Ok, maybe a bit harsh.....he's a good storyteller. The book reads very much like a good screenplay, which I think is his forte anyway. I have a feeling the guy is a huge nerd (in a good way, I love nerds). I mean - George RR Martin? C'mon
I really wouldn't waste your time with it Q. I really didn't enjoy it and found it a struggle to finish, which really surprised me since Michael Moorcock is one of my favourite writers.
He is one of mine as well Penners, I had a perusal of it today in Waterstones and though maybe, but I will see if it is in the Library if so I will read a couple of chapters to see if I think it is worth buying.
I'm currently reading the third one spidey, the well of lost plots . The series is great as is the spinoff from. But i prefer the seperate book Shades of Grey
