Finished Wizard's First Rule (okay for the most part, but there's some really f**ked up s**t in it), and am now starting on The Tommyknockers.

Is that Tommyknockers by Stephen King? It's been awhile but I enjoyed that one. Have been a long time King fan.

Am currently reading The World According To Garp.

Next book on the pile is Thomas Covenant, the Unbeliever trilogy.

Currently I'm reading Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan, which is in a companion series to the Percy Jackson books. I've also been reading A Wild Light by Marjorie M. Liu, but set it down when I got Snuff and haven't picked it back up yet.

The Son of Neptune is really good,i prefered the first one though

at the moment I'm reading The Gates by John Connoly

Call the book by its proper name not the shortened version for dumb americans

Its called 'The Gates of Hell are Closing Please Mind the Gap'
Its a title reminiscint of Philip K Dick

Well on my version it just says The Gates then at the bottom it says
Samuel Johnson vs the devil round 1

I'm reading it because I heard it was basically a rewrite of Quatermass and the Pit. That, and, well, It was okay, but pretty damn squicky more than truly horrific.

Well, I'm about 80% of the way through Wizard's First Rule, and it just got f**king weird. I mean, seriously, that S&M stuff makes me cringe.

I liked the book, but that part is so out-of-place!

no you dont agnes, he gets free books off baen because he is paralysed after a bike accident, and baen give their books away for free to disabled people. he is a good mate but i would prefer him not to be able to get free books

Hard Magic is good Chris I have read the first one, it's in the style of of a private tec one like Mike Hammer waiting for the second to come out in Audio book, it's out in hardback.
