Good Omens - Sir Terry & Neil Gaiman

Not quite half way through but I'm loving it!
Great book!
It is indeed! One of my friends found out I was on a bit of a Terry Pratchett phase in my reading and basically demanded I start Good Omens as soon as I was finished the book I was on. He then spent the next ten min telling me it was his favourite book and his needing to repeatedly buy it after lending it and not getting it back.

I couldn't help get the impression that people like this book

Good Omens was okay, but it wasn't quite up to the standard I expected of Pratchett. In fact, the only non-Discworld Pratchett book (out of the ones I've read, Strata, Good Omens, and Nation) that I felt was up to Discworld standard was Nation. And as far as Neil Gaiman was concerned, I preferred American Gods. It's not to say Good Omens was bad, it was just below the high standard I had expected of Pratchett works.

Anyway, just finished the Tolkiens' The Children of Hurin. Not too bad. Very old fashioned, though.
