Nearly finished "Goodbye to Berlin" by Christopher Isherwood, so far it's not as good as "Mr Norris Changes Trains" but I think that's more to do with the fragmentary nature of the text rather than the innate quality of the writing itself, which is still very much up to par.
I'll definitely have a look at some of his other work in the future; I've got my eye on "A Single Man" which is apparently his best novel.
