I'm reading more of the Shardlake books - he's the Tudor detective/lawyer - I've developed a huge liking for the character

Antiq, I adore the Shardlake series. They are so fresh it feels like you are in Henry's reign. Enjoy!

I am! It would make a wonderful tv series, if it was well done.

Ooh, I like Mark Billingham! Have you read his Tom Thorne books?

Nearly finished "Goodbye to Berlin" by Christopher Isherwood, so far it's not as good as "Mr Norris Changes Trains" but I think that's more to do with the fragmentary nature of the text rather than the innate quality of the writing itself, which is still very much up to par.

I'll definitely have a look at some of his other work in the future; I've got my eye on "A Single Man" which is apparently his best novel.

Currently reading the penguin deluxe classics edition of "Dante's Inferno", it's very good so far.

Reading Gideon's Corpse by Preston & Child. Just ok. I would put it aside if I had something better to read.
