I've never seen the TV show. Reichs is a consultant on the show, but she doesn't usually write the episodes. The charcters, apart from Temperence Brennen are not in the books, and Tempe herself (in the show) is much younger.

Have you read Virals, Tony? I didn't know, when I bought it, that it was a book for the younger audience...it did become clear after a short time though. Reichs is keeping it in the family so to speak as Virals main character is her nephew Kits daughter.
