Just finished "the Damned Busters" really interesting book, enjoyed it a lot.
Blurb from Amazon

A hilariously demonic romp through Hell and Back. When mild-mannered actuary Chesney Artstruther accidentally summons a demon and refuses to sell his soul, Hell goes on strike - but with no demons to tempt mankind, the world slows down. No temptation means no ambition, and no drive - the world's manufacturing and agriculture suffers, and something must be done! Chesney agrees to help, but in return he wants to be a superhero with a demonic sidekick!

I've recently read a few by Christopher Moore....

Practical Demonkeeping - A normal guy becomes involved with the supernatural in error. His new companion likes to eat people. Many inhabitants of a cosy town get caught up in the resulting chaos as demon and demonkeeper try to part ways

A Dirty Job - a 2nd hand store assistant finds himself with a new job as Death

Bloodsucking Fiends - Tommy spends his time night-clerking and frozen turkey bowling in a San Francisco Safeway until he meets a vampire

are all very entertaining. Most of his books are worth a go.

I LOVE Chris Moore.

But if you really want one that stands out above the rest, read Lamb. It's his retelling of Jesus' life from the point of view of Jesus' best friend Biff. I'm not Christian, but the story is so well written and thoughtful that Moore's Christ is a lot more appealing (to me at least) that the Gospels version.

I really enjoyed Lamb, Fool was good as well but Mr Dotsie prefers his others. Found Bite Me in a charity shop today woo hoo! Amazon would have taken 2-3 months to deliver it
