I'm reading 'Knights of Madness' - a collection of short stories by various writers, including a certain Mr Pratchett's story 'Hollywood Chickens'. I found the book - a hardback first edition in beautiful condition, in a charity shop a couple of weeks ago.

"The British are coming!"

If you haven't checked the Historical Note at the back of the book, do so. It's interesting reading.

The Fort was somewhat different to most of his books as there were no real ficticious characters at the forefront. He concentrated pretty much on the facts.

Nice but never really been a fan of the drawings. Part of my collection now though!

Just finished American Gods. Found it good to read, a bit daft in places but so darkly funny that you sometimes needed to put a light on!

Cleverly written. And I loved all the Gods he had picked out. IN a way very Terry Pratchett in another not Pratchett like at all.

A 'keepie book' for long distance travel!

One thing I am not certain about is what is Shadow living off? The money Wedensday gave him? I though he lost that ast some stage?

Edited cos I had a thought.....
