After i dunno how many months, and 2000 pages, finally finished Fallout: Equestria. Sad the journey is over, but it was one hell of a ride. Excellent story. Lots of action, fair amount of humor, some really emotional moments, and just overall well written narrative.

Finished reading Perfume: The Story of a Murderer. Bloody weird book, and a little thin on the ground, but perversely enjoyable all the same.
A brilliant book. Why thin on the ground? Anyone who enjoyed the film would love the book BTW :)
Because it was almost all about Grenouille's life's journey, and he wasn't really a complicated person. Hey, I'm not saying it wasn't a good book. I enjoyed it quite a bit, and immediately bought the $10 Penguin paperback after returning my library copy. I was just left wanting a bit more.

I'm reading The Last Dragonslayer by Jasper Fforde. Enjoying it so far. :)
Liked the book and its sequel but I have it up to here with Jasper FForde. The third parts release of this has been put back three times , The third Jack Spratt book promised in 2007 has disappeared, the sequel of Shades of Grey promised for last year has dissapeared with a prequel now promised for 2015 and hes still throwing out rubbish Thursday sequels when the series was so clearly ended in book 4.
someone has to kick him firmly up the arse

The boy who cold see demons, or something close to that. Can't put it down!
Finished this, The Boy Who Could See Demons by Carolyn Jess-Cooke. It was really good! My only criticism is that she tipped her hand a little too early and obviously about the ending.

I agree with you guys on the Thursday Next books. I would much rather see another Shades of Grey book.

On the civilised part of the world The Infernals is actually called Hells Bells. One of those odd occasions were I preffered the US cover to the UK one. A good book none the less.
And for jealousy inducing purposes I'm going to a table quiz with John Connolly on Tuesday next
