I'm still trying to get Raisin books but with a dodgy memory and the factor I've read quite a few from the library means it's a near hopeless search without my list cause the chances are high that I'll buy books that I've already got

Ghost, try charity shops. Half of my Hamish's to date have come from charities, Oxfam mostly.

I just gave away a carrier bag full of Agatha Raisin books, for my friend Mary to re-read.

What got me a little hacked off about them, was the author keeping on describing her "bear like eyes" and how she "brushed her hair until it gleamed".

Give it a rest, love.

Currently reading The Last tango in Aberystwyth by Malcolm Pryce. 2nd is his Aberystwyth books. A real hoot. It's like removing the Bronx and swapping it with Aberystwyth! Most enjoyable. Now looking out for the next two. Gods bless charity shops.

Finished the umpteenth reread of Feet of Clay......love that book! Now embarking on The Cuckoo's Calling by Robert Galbraith. You would almost know it's JK Rowling without being told since she is so good at scene setting and character description. Enjoying it so far.

Read The Making of Return of the Jedi (the recent Rinzler version), and read the fourth and final (to date) dead tree edition of Gunnerkrigg Court.

Recently, I read a library copy of The Fat Duck Cookbook. Very enjoyable and interesting, though I daresay the scientific essays in the back might put some off (not me). I intend to buy it when I have enough money to spare.

Reading Steelheart by Brandon Sanderson (just to be different to everyone reading the other Sanderson book at the moment).
Once I've finished that I'm moving on to Traitors Blade by Sebastian De Castell.

Finished reading the third (second for me to read) Mervyn Stone book, Cursed Among Sequels. Lacked a certain je ne sais quois from the original, but made up for it with the satire.
