John Dies at the End - by David Wong. Hugely strange, with a plot I can't explain and I'm only just keeping up with.......but there must be something about the book, cos I'm still reading it :rolleyes: :laugh:
I've got this book and it's sequel on my wish list :laugh:

Cor, so it was a very booky Christmas for me. I will be the most boring but happy person in the world for the next little while until I get through this lot;

A Slip Of The Keyboard & A Blink Of The Screen :laugh: .

A Fortunate Life - Albert Facey

Malala - Malala Yousafzai

Revolution - Russell Brand

Watchman graphic novel

A bit of a mixed bag but variety is the spice of life is it not?

Happy reading days everyone.

I've been wondering about that book Chilli. Let me know what you think when you've finished.
Eventually finished this. I liked it.

At times I wavered and got a bit lost. The action is sometimes a bit surreal and as such if I wasn't concentrating I lost the thread a bit. But when I made time to properly get my head into the book it was fun.

A real mix of buddy humour between two friends and sometimes some quite gory comedy-horror with people exploding etc. I didn't find it the easiest book to read ........but I would give the sequel a go, so it can't have been that bad.

I'm currently reading: "The Barrakee Mystery: An Inspector Bonaparte Mystery #1 featuring Bony, the first Aboriginal detective (Inspector Bonaparte Mysteries)" by Arthur W. Upfield. This was originally written in 1929 and is the first one of the series. I'm enjoying it so far. This was one of those books when the word "ejaculation" tended to be used in a different context. :laugh:
