I'm just at the end of Monsterous Regiment and will next be reading Thud just because I love night watch stories, I've also got V for Vendetta and the Nightwatchmen graphic novels to read. I like nothing more than to read a book beforeI see the the film so I can sit there annoying my hubby by pointing out how the film is nothing like the book and that the book is miles better

Currently reading "The Universe in a Single Atom - The convergence of Science and Spirituality" by The Dalai Lama.

It's a fascinating book so far about how the Dalai Lama found an interest in science and then spent a lot of time learning about it and reconciling it to his faith. Buddhism, he says, is similar to scientific theory in that Buddhists are actively encouraged to test the Buddhist teachings rather than just accepting doctrine. In a similar way, scientists test theories and just because Einstein or Newton say something, it doesn't mean it is right and therefore it needs to be constantly tested.

I'm currently reading, and loving, The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman.
Can't wait for my library to get that in. I'm so tempted to buy it, but no!
I got mine from the library too. Stayed up way too late reading last night. Hope yours gets it in soon!
Got it! Read it in no time as my "pre-sleep book", what a lovely story

Still reading The Book Thief on my commute, & really enjoying it.

dotsie will appreciate this one , too many curses by a lee martinez and its very funny so far :)
Looks like you've nearly read them all, Chris!

I'm reading Ten Sorry Tales by Mick something-or-other, but I won't recommend it. It's too childish, a poor man's Roald Dahl.

Finished The Book Thief on Sunday. Good job I didn't read the last 20 pages on my commute - I was a snotty mess! I thought it was a lovely story, but some in my book group didn't like it. No pleasing some people

I'm reading "Dear Fatty", Dawn French's autobiography thingy. It's as funny as you'd expect, really

I quite like the way it's done too, she wrote it all as letters addressed to the various important people in her life. I'm not close to finishing it just yet, but I'm enjoying it so far. ^^
