Garn... I have been almost memorizing the blasted thing. I am trying to stumble through Phule's Paradise by Robert Asprin. He is a good author, but I am finding some of his stuff a bit trite. I Really liked Dragons Wild, however that is only the first book in the series and I shall wait to buy it used.

I have a mess of Esther Friesner coming soon hehehe!
I bought Dragons Wild and the sequel Dragons Luck I enjoyed Dragons Wild but have still to read Dragons Luck.

I've read Guards! Guards! at least three or four times and heard the audio book twice, but I still enjoy it every time.
It's like that with most Discworld books: You can read them hundreds of times and still find new things.
My baby Sis has trouble with Discworld books due to the sheer volume of the humor. I am going to give her my First edition of Nation as a wedding present. She thinks she will like the difference. I am also throwing in Dave Barry's "Boogers Are My Beat" some of his articles are fall down silly.

Edit: lol Doh! Guards! Guards! ... my paperback is almost falling apart from being read so much. I got it used and it was not treated properly. Eww, does that make me an Elitist about my books? hmmm

Great Expectations - Charles Dickens

For some reason I've never read any of Dickens' novels before now.
I've only read A Christmas Carol by him.

Of course, he was the cause of several deaths in the US.

He used to write his books in installments and people would buy them every few months. Well his writing was so popular that fans used to wait on the dockside for the ship from England with the lastest installment. There were so many people in one case that the jetty they were standing on collapsed and several people were drowned.

And you thought the queues for the newest Harry Potter were daft.

Oh, the lines for Harry Potter are still insane. We're just lucky the books aren't coming by boat anymore. :)

I knew he released some of his stories a chapter at a time through magazines, but wow! If only my own writing could produce such fervor.

Just finished "Witch way to the Mall?" edited by Esther Friesner, and am working on "If I Were an Evil Overlord" editied by Martin H. Greenburg and Russel Davis. I enjoy short stories and Esther Friesner is a Hoot with her "Chicks in Chainmail", I mean really, what does one do when your armor rides up and your bronze bustier has an uncomfortable dent.

Tarantino's best film in my opinion.
I'v always had a soft spot for From dusk 'til dawn myself.....*salivates at thought of badass George Clooney* ;)

Just finished Gone tomorrow by Lee Child. One of the better Jack Reacher stories in my opinion. Have just started Coraline, want to read it before I see it :)
