Started Nothing to Lose by Lee Child, but really find that my get up and go has got up and gone where this novel is concerned.

Not my favourite Reacher story at all.

I did, however, read six Agatha Raisin books over Friday/Saturday.

I then had to pick up Making Movies from where I'd previously left off.

On the graphic novels at the moment - Alan Moore's Ballad of Halo Jones, the Carlos Ezquerra Judge Dredd collection and The Fixer by the excellent graphic journalist Joe Sacco.

Also re-reading Michael Marshall Smith's short story collection, What You Make It.

Just started "The Birthing House" by Christopher Ransom. Gosh, that one's good. You start to read and in the next moment find yourself already reading page ten, with your mouth open  . It's a scary book  .
Just listen to the first sentence: "Conrad Harrison found the last home he would ever know by driving the wrong way out of Chicago with a ghost in his car." (Actually, this sounds rather funny  )

Sounds good!

I just finished P.S. I Love You by Cecelia Ahern. Made me cry a lot. But I do really love her books! The movie they made of this was horrible. I couldn't even finish watching it.

Just finished "American Gods" by Neil Gaiman, starting "Anansi Boys" tonight if everything goes as planned... :p
Seems like Gaiman is the favored writer in the house, as my better half is immersed in "Neverwhere". He didn`t like Coraline, as it was too creepy....

The only Conan Doyle I've read is The Lost World. I really must get around to reading Holmes one of these days. :)

I'm reading another Aubrey/Maturin book by Patrick O'Brian - 'Treason's Harbour'. I love these books! Great action and characters and on times incredibly funny!

Couldn't agree more, I can't believe children dare read that story. It creeped me out big time
I loved Neverwhere - the London underground will never be the same :)

I finished Coraline myself the other day, and also The island by Hislop. Coraline is a 10/10, The island about a 6/10

Just started a Lynda La Plante book I can't remember the name of just now...

I couldn't read The Island beyond about the fifth page. Her main character was so annoying I started shouting at the book - which is a sign to put it down...
