Apropos (or is it à propos?? I keep wondering!) someone recommended American Gods to me. I haven't read anything by Gaiman, except Stardust... Is it a nice novel?
American Gods is good.
'Nice' is subjective. Good story, excellent characters.

Neverwhere got me lost and I liked the Stardust book better than the movie.
Yes, even with Robert DeNiro...

American Gods is Epic ;) I must have read it 4 or 5 times now and I find it still gripping and hard to put down ;)

I am a little afraid of Neil Gaiman... I read his Smoke and Mirrors book and got both scared and then very angry about some of the stories. He has a brilliant mind with some very, very dark nooks in it.

I'm reading Three Cups of Tea, the book that Sharlene recommended a page or so back - and, bless her heart, she sent me a copy of.

It's an incredible book and very hard to put down.

Why? Does it have sticky substances on the cover?

Finished Going Postal again, I really do like that book and am reading "Free from Lies" by Alice Miller, I love her work. It has enlightened me and helped in my therapy.

Also reading Small Gods again, then will read Going Postal for SEPTEMBER 7TH.
;) Good on you Tina!
