The funniest thing about Reaper Man were the wizards, I've always thought   very funny, and about Mort wait till you see Death's job... (I'm not saying anything too specific until you've read them obviously, I don't like to spoil books)

Thank's Tina,

Did I mention I was Old
Thats where he forgets who he is and takes on a different persona .
Ah so you've noticed I have multiple user names

Damn and blast you Sir

Yous is far too clever for me so yous is Squire

Maybe I need to go back in time and see if I can adjust the time lines to eradicate these thoughts from your mind

Surely some mistake there Lord Morty of Theobald o_O
A mistake Pooh.......

Let’s see I (Morty) typed the post and quoted the voices in my head from Lord PS, Jenkins, The Doctor and signed off as Jan Van Quirm who I have always been

Where's the mistake Oh bugger don't tell me I've used the wrong computers again. I have a separate machine for each of my characters so I don't get discovered

That why I got thrown out of the last forum I was a member of. I had 37 different logon's on that forum and only got discovered when I got carried away and joined for the 38th time as Elvis

Did you know he was dead.....I had no idea
I'd been getting my fish and chips off him for years and the news came as quite a shock to us we can tell you

The plan for the future is not to let my huge bank of computers go to waste.

I'm learning to type with my feet so watch out for The Luggage joining shortly.

My favourite character Death will be joining our merry band and as soon as I’ve perfected typing in an Australian accent none other Rolf Harris will be entertaining us with his wobble board and Sylophone.....Can you tell who it is yet

Hope this clears things up......Can we keep this between ourselves as I don’t the Mods finding out.

Hugs x
Not sure who I am today as it takes time for the meds to kick in.

I take it you've finished Soul Music, then?
Ah.....Now you have got me there!

Tina advised me to slow down and take my time in reading Soul Music so that I didn’t miss the one liners.

If I was a dishonest person I could blame the fact on me not having finished the book on her but I am an honest person and that is not the reason.

Compared to Colour of Magic that I thoroughly enjoyed I am finding Soul Music a bit hard to follow

As you will have read in some of my other posts I am not enjoying the best of health at the moment. My sleep pattern is nonexistent and I get very restless. At the moment it’s all too easy to close the book and do other things.

I will get there and I will read it again as you suggested.

Once the latest medication kicks in and I get back into a routine then I’ll be able to follow my doctor’s advice and take things easy.........Like relaxing with Soul Music 8)

Oh and the doctor I refer to is my GP and not the forums very own nutter who travels both in time and inside his own mind (Why is there no yellow thingy for PMSL) PMSL!

Sorry Pooh and Jan,

I’m being serious here, I think my medication is getter the better of me and it’s making me very tired and confused.

As I said before I’m an honest person and I’m taking remarks and comments all in the wrong context and making mistake after mistake.

A very wise and kindly member of this forum has just explained to me that in this thread I’ve missed the jokes and taken it all the wrong way.

I apologize to all concerned

Before I make a real mistake and upset someone I think it’s for the best if I take some time out from posting and concentrate on catching up on some much needed sleep and give the new meds time to settle in.

It will also give me time to finish Soul Music

Keep the kettle on a low light I’ll be back soon.

Mortimer.

 If it helps, there is One and Only One of me... thanks the gods for that, as I am SURE everyone else does too.

Soul Music is... well, think back to Elvis, Budd-y Holly, and those days when the new sensation of a beat making your whole body want to move, not Perry Como, Pat Boone, or Eddie Fisher in ANY WAY. It is about feeling young, even when you aren't young, and wanting to rebel against ALL authority, and in Mrs. Whitlow's case toss yer undies up on stage.   Think Pink

Reaper Man is a good book about Death because it really is about Death "finding himself" and learning about humans more.

"Oeroeg" Hella S. Haasse...

Part of these "Hollands reads-weeks" - each year you can get a really famous Dutch novel for free. But I still can't get into Dutch literature - it's just not my thing.
