Useful tip about the spoiler quote, thank you.

Also I was reading all of the Robin Hobb series again. Damn those are some depressing but very good books. Now I'm working my way through discworld again.

Wow, I super fail at this! 8)

The funny thing is, that whenever someone tries to do a white text spoiler box, I highlight it no matter what the warning says. Just like those wizards in the university who can't keep their noses out no matter what.

This is the third book, right, not the will-be-published one...

Oh, goodie!
Random fact: The guy who drew the covers for the US Barti books did the pictures in the "Where's My Cow?" picture book.

Does anyone ever find themselves buying/reading books just because they want to see what happens, not because they actually like the series?
I found myself doing that with Darren Shan, and Animorphs, and Septimus Heap. o_O And Artemis Fowl, of course. Maybe Eragon and Pern...

I did like the Snicket series, still have to get my hand on the last four though.

As for finding out what happens instead of liking the books: The Sword of Truth did that for me. First couple of books were pretty good, but the last ones... Eugh, his love for objectivist philosophy kept rearing it's head in every action, thought and word.

I remember when book 12 came out. "Penultimate Peril".
The shop stocked them 3 days early, and my sister won the "guess the title of the new book" internet contest. ;)

Reading: Making Money
It came in the mail today, and I have the suspicious feeling that the content has been messed with to make it suitable for US audiences (I got the US copy - it was cheaper). Everytime they mention Uberwald, there's an umlaut on top.
