I am aout 3/4 of the way through the Ashes of Worlds byKevin J Anderson. This is the last of 7 books in the Saga of the Seven Suns. WONDERFUL seris and very fast paced books. I am sneaking away from my desk at work to read chapters. Each chapter is no more than 5-10 pages in length.

How he kept rack of all of his charatcers in all seven books is beyound me!

Ater this one I am going to read The NEcromancer by Micheal Scott. This is the newest book the in Nicholas Flamel series, anothe cracking read.

I am a child, so no criticism or whatnotwhat, I'm reading lots of books:
Bartimaeus- Jonathan Stroud
Going Postal- Sir. Pratchett
On the Origin of Species- Charles Darwin
Battleground- Chris Ryan
Public Enemy number 2- Anthony Horowitz
The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes- Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
and some more.

Between bouts of Pratchett oriented literacy I have been devouring Feist's Conclave of the Shadows series and am waiting to start his Darkwar Saga (only waiting as the better half has a dental hospital appointment soon, and if I start it now I will have finished it in a day or so... Feist really holds my attention).[/list]

I have just finished Dragongirl by Todd McCaffrey. He is every bit as good as him Mum Anne at writing about the planet Pern. I couldn't put the book down.

Recently read China Mieville's short story collection and on the back of that have just received Perdido Street Station and King Rat via Amazon Marketplace - that's the holiday reading sorted!
Although it's a week before my holiday and I've nearly finished King Rat. Good job I ordered two Mark Watson novels as well.
