Is this the one Chris I like all the Dark Future books mostly written by well known authors under a non de plume this one was written by Kim Newman writing as Jack Yevoil.
I just discovered that my new beaut GPS will play E-books
ummmm..... wouldn't that be a bit dangerous..... driving AND reading?
Will let you all know how I go with it.
I have worked out part of the problem with my Unseen Academicals audiobook! ITunes seems to have grouped discs 1 and 4 into the same album (but not 2 and 3)... no wonder I get to a certain point and have no idea what's going on! Now I just have work on the staying awake while listening...
I've just finished reading 'Flood', by Stephen Baxter. Thank you Not-So-Secret Hogfather for giving me something to read that I would not normally have considered buying had I seen it sitting in the shop. It really was quite a page turner.

Reading 'The Know-It-All: One Man's Humble Quest to Become the Smartest Person in the World' by A.J. Jacobs.
Real story of a guy who's reading all 32 books of the Encyclopædia Britannica. I'm all for weird projects like these, but I'm starting to dislike the author from his various comments. He's not very loveable.
Currently partway through reading the Miles in Love omnibus volume from the Vorkosigan Saga by Lois McMaster Bujold. And in effect, that means I am most of the way through A Civil Campaign, which is supposed to be one of the funnier books in the series. There were certainly a few laugh-out-loud bits.
