Tried Simon R. Green's new ghost hunter series, and struggled to get through it. He just doesn't do subtle, does he? I'm expecting that when I pick up a Nightside or Secret Histories book, but was hoping for something different with this one. Not only is it not subtle, it's just ridiculously over the top.

i thought it was really good, especially in the underground.
the beginning in the hypermarket carpark was a good introduction to the team as well

the next one in the series is out shortly, ive got it on preorder so i wil tell you wot its like ive not long finished the newest secret histories novel-for heavens eyes only and that was a good read
