I'd say that's the best season Tony.

I've got the first episode of Alphas on, pretty good. It's about a team of ordinary people with (small) superpowers (like heroes) that are called in to help solve some crimes/mysteries.

Saw Harry Potter over the weekend, but I won't spoil it for anyone.

I was more posting because of the trailer I saw for the new planet of the chimps film. Has anyone seen the trailer? Does anyone think it looks absolutely ridiculous?
I have seen the trailer. I'm pretty sure someone posted it here somewhere. I think the chimps actually looked like chimps (albeit cgi ones) and better than the last incarnation of the story by Time Burton - which I thought was awful.

This one looks better as far as the apes go, but I wasn't impressed by the trailer as far as the story goes.

I think I just have trouble with the concept. Not sure why, I'm not usually that picky. If I could put words around it, it'd probably be the hollywood style of the apes. They almost seem to be like heroes in a Jerry Bruckheimer production, like Pearl Harbour. I don't think it mirrors the premise of the film well.
Don't know if it's meant to mirror the original. It's a prequel, showing how the apes became dominant.

I meant the idea of the apes rising against the cruel humans who locked them up, I would expect them to look more....primal to begin with. I don't know, I'm painting broad strokes because I didn't particularly like the original and the prequel just looks like CGI guff. When you've seen it Dave post a review....

But that idea was covered in Escape From the Planet of the Apes and Conquest of the Planet of the Apes. o_O

I saw the new Dark Knight Rises trailer  But we still have to wait untill summer 2012 :(

Just looked it up and I am soooo exited

According to imdb Adam West is rumoured to be in it, that would be seriously epic.
I hope not, I like Stan Lee's cameo's in the Marvel films but I don't think that kind of thing would suit Nolan's Batman films. o_O

I watched "The World" again tonight on SBS. Its a chinese film about two people who meet up as employees in a huge theme park on the edge of Beijing (themed around different parts of the world (Paris and the Eiffel Tower, etc) and the relationships in the park. Contrasts of the bright theme land and squalid underbelly of the theme park and how the employees survive. Seen it before. Great movie.
