Battle for LA:
Filmmaker Darren Doane ("42K") and a camera, hit the streets of L.A. in an almost guerilla-like fashion and interviews a number of DJs, rappers and dancers. Not only do they give their take on what hip-hop is, what it represents on a personal and social level, but he also attends what is termed "battles" between rappers.
Battle Los Angeles:
Los Angeles and other cities around the world are being bombarded by meteors that seem to be slowing down once they hit the earth's atmosphere.
Haven't seen the first one but really enjoyed the other one. Yes, cliched, but done well and entertaining.
I've just finished watching Black Books, which was okay, a bit too sitcommy for my taste.
I've also seen the first three episodes of Misfits yesterday, cool stuff.
