Watched Super 8 yesterday, and tbh .... I felt I had gotten a ticket's worth already during the train blast  I had hoped for a nice little flick, and got a very nice surprise in the quality - this goes directly home to my movie collection when it comes out on buyable media. Definitely a possible top 3 movie this year for me :)

And while movies with kids/teens normally make me cringe due to hystric/poor/over-acting or bad manus, those kids were darn awsome.

Seen Insidious and despite the fact that some scenes seem cheap in the way they try to scare the viewer it... scared the hell out of me. Watch it with a girl in a dark room and you're sure to get "I'm-scared-and-need-a-hug" kindda thing. ;) And girls - don't watch it alone. ;)

You're not suggesting girls can't cope with scary films are you Ron?

Of course they can, they just hide their faces in hands in really scary moments. ;)

I went and see The Zookeeper and Horrible Bosses yesterday (I've got a month pass for the cinema so I pay a flat fee and get to go whenever I want). The Zookeeper was to pass the time waiting for Horrible Bosses. It was pretty much what you'd expect from a movie with talking animals giving dating advice.

Horrible Bosses was better, not a clasic but enjoyable enough. Good cast helped out a lot.

Planning on seeing Captain America soon!
