Saw Bridesmaids yesterday and just came back from The Green Lantern.

Bridesmaids... the women in the audience sure enjoyed it. I didn't think much of it myself. It had some good jokes but mostly went for easy (and gross) laughs.

The Green Lantern was fairly entertaining. Loads of (probably necessary) exposition dragged it out a bit. Hope the planned sequels are better!

I took my niece and nephew to see Mr Popper's Penguins. They loved it. It is quite enjoyable as long as you turn off your brain before you enter.
My lad has just been with his Nan to see this and said it was very funny and even his Nan laughed and she doesn't like Jim Carey.

Watched Scream 4 today, entertaining popcorn movie.

But more interestingly, I'm almost done with the second season of Breaking Bad. It's a drama about a science teacher that starts producing crystal meth when he finds out he's got lung cancer. I'm usually more of a comedy/scifi geek but this might be the best show on at the moment.

Went to see Mr Popper's Penguin's this afternoon, it wasn't bad. It's Liar Liar, but with penguins and less funny.
Planning to see Super 8 and Rise of the Planet of the Apes on Thursday. Watching the last episodes of the second season of Breaking Bad now.

Yesterday we watched What Dreams May Come... I expected a tissue-and-chocolate-ice-cream movie, but apart from the beautiful visuals - which it got an Oscar for - it was... OK+... didn't have the effect on me I thought it'd be...
You're getting older MC, growing cold, hard and cynical from overexposure to the nuts in here!
