This thread is for movies too, right? Well, as people following the 'what did I watch' thread may know, I recently watched The Golden Voyage of Sinbad. It was an interesting experience, seeing a pre-Bond Caroline Munro, and a pre-Doctor Who Tom Baker. Crappy excuse of a story, but a moderately enjoyable romp.

I know, it was the same with Heroes, twice I had to download single episodes from iTunes because of that...:(

I gave up on it about six episodes in to the first season.

Still makes me smile when I think of Greg Grunberg's constipated look when he was doing his thang!

Standard plot devices is what makes it good! It's Cowboys fighting Aliens!! It doesn't get much better than that! :laugh:

Yeah, I get where you're coming from but the movie was mostly disappointing to me because of lazy writing. Honestly, I prefer Independance Day for mindless alien violence.
