Yesterday I watched A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas which was alright, dumb but kind of funny.
After that I gave up on the Human Centipede 2 after about 30 minutes.
Had Our Idiot Brother on afterwards which didn't do much for me.

Tonight I'm planning to watch the Guard, which should be great from what I've heard from everyone!

I just watched a Danish movie I got from Poundland. It's called 'Flame and Citron' and it's based on the true wartime exploits of two Danish Resistance assassins. It's a very good movie and I'd recommend it. :)

Last night a friend & I watched a DVD of the film To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything! Julia Newmar..
It's about 3 Drag Queens & on their journey to a Drag Queen Pageant they have to stop in a hick town. The late Patrick Swayze makes a lovely woman & it's funny & way over the top.
Not the sort of film we would usually watch, but we enjoyed it.

Was supposed to have been doing some home reno's before I start work again but got side-tracked by the 3 seasons of Jam & Jerusalem AND Season 4 of Breaking Bad. Both of which were A-bloody-mazing  .

Jam & Jerusalem? Really? It got serious hate on the BBC boards.
Yeah? There's no accounting for some people's taste is there.

BBC Boards? Serious hate?? That's pretty funny.

I haven't watched any films for a while, I'm not a fan of new films so I tend to watch 80's and before stuff randomly. Due to this theres only so much you can watch as you've seem em all before!

However.... I think I watched 'Brassed off' last. Big fan of Pete Postlewaite, was sad to see he died!

Believe it or not its not too far off. There was a few guards up in Donegal a few years ago and to get promotions and credit they were robbing guns and explosives, from there evidence lockups, that had been confiscated from the IRA , hiding them somewhere in abandoned houses and the likes , then going on a raid and finding it all and reporting the find to the national press . Three guys got promoted quite high off the back of a few of these raids before they were all caught. Sometiems truth is stranger than fiction
